Scott started working in insurance out of college and now has over 20 years of experience with his emphasis on business, auto, home and life insurance. He has a unique experience in claims handling and takes pride in assisting customers with that aspect of insurance. Understanding the value of hard work and resilience, Scott began building GIT Insurance from the ground up back in 2005. Scott is so proud of his family and 3 boys; Brady, Toby and Blake. In his free time, Scott embraces his passion for baseball, coaching for Dallas Center - Grimes High School.

Michelle has been in insurance since 2002 and has a passion to provide customers with a great experience while taking care of all their insurance needs. Michelle worked in a State Farm agency for 12 years before coming to GIT Insurance in 2013. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, kids, and dog.

Peggy has been an agent since 2007 and primarily works in customer service and policy quoting. Born and raised in Dallas Center, Peggy now lives in Grimes and is a big fan of Hawkeye football. When she’s not at work, Peggy enjoys spending time with friends and family and working on craft projects.

Traci has been in insurance since 2022 and wants to help clients with their insurance needs in any way she can. Prior to joining the insurance world, Traci worked at a bank. Born and raised in rural Guthrie County, Traci now resides in Bayard. She and her husband have a daughter and two sons, and her grandchildren, Klaus and the newest grandchild set to arrive in May of 2023.  She loves watching her kids in their sporting events and performances, spending time with her family and spending time outdoors when the weather is nice.

Dustin has been a licensed agent since 2022 and is eager to provide the best customer service possible while making sure everyone’s unique insurance needs are met. Prior to insurance, Dustin spent time in the military and serving overseas along with being a newspaper and broadcast journalist. Growing up in southern Iowa and now residing in Bayard with his wife Taylor, Dustin enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and kayaking while spending time with family and hitting the links for a round of golf with is buddies when it’s warm. Dustin and his wife have a growing family with their son Klaus and a new baby joining the family in 2023.

Alex has been with GIT Insurance since 2017. He is a graduate of Waldorf University where he majored in Finance and Banking. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, working out and spending time with friends and family. 

Judy has been with GIT since the beginning, 2005. A retiree from the Principal financial Group, Judy still spends time in the workforce assisting with clerical and accounting for GIT. In her free time she enjoys watching sports and spending time with friends, family, and her 16 grandkids and 6 great-grandchildren.

An agent in training since 2008, Brady comes into the office every day after school with a joyful attitude to work in his cubicle alongside his brother, Toby.

An agent in training since 2010, Toby comes into the office each day focused on accomplishing great things in the company that could, one day, be his.

An agent in training since 2015, Blake is always excited for those opportunities to come to the office and work alongside Scott and his brothers.

Wilma has been in insurance since 2016 and wants to provide and educate each client with their own insurance needs. Wilma can provide all lines of insurance with specialization in farm and commercial trucking. Wilma worked with State Farm before joining the GIT Insurance team in April of 2019. Wilma was born and raised in South Africa and married a small-town farmer from Guthrie Center. She has a set of twins and enjoys the outdoors and spending time on the farm with her family.

Diane has been an agent since 1983. She loves connecting with people and making sure all their insurance needs are met. When she’s not in the office, Diane enjoys time with her husband of 50 years, George, and being a grandma to her eight grandchildren.
